Why do you need a Joint Strategic Plan (and what does it join up) ?
We are required to produce a plan by law. You can read more about this in the statutory guidance.
This approach helps us plan jointly across health and social care and work with communities and wider sectors to ensure we can plan together and make the best use of the resources we have in Argyll & Bute.
How will we consult?
How will we consult?
What will we do with your feedback?
An Integrated Impact Assessment which considers how people in Argyll & Bute will be impacted in relation to our public duties. It helps us understand any risks and how we will reduce risk.
We want to know what’s important in the different localities of Argyll & Bute and this will inform our final plan.
The final documents from the consultation will be an Integrated Impact Assessment, and a final draft Joint Strategic Plan for submission to the Integration Joint Board in March 2026.
How do I get a paper copy of the questionnaire and where do I send it to?
You can download a copy of the online survey at this link for someone who may wish to complete it offline

Who will approve the plan?
We develop the draft plan with a partnership group called the Strategic Planning Group and involve the IJB in its development before we consult with communities.
We will get feedback from communities and partners before we create the final draft to make sure we have identified the right priorities from policy, demographic information and local intelligence.
The draft plan is presented for approval to the Integration Joint Board (IJB) at a public meeting.
