Integration Joint Board consent to move to consultation on a proposed ceiling of care as part of the social work financial recovery plan
Draft Integrated Impact Assessment and Engagement Specification reviewed
A draft Integrated Impact Assessment is in place. The final assessment will be informed by the consultation.
An Integrated Impact Assessment replaces the Equality Socio-economic Impact assessment previously used and ensure that we are considering all the public duties that we require to when making any changes. It considers where there may be negative or positive impacts and how we manage any increased risk.
external key stakeholder consultation begins
We will meet with other key stakeholders such as independent sector care providers, carers representatives, service user and carers from this point
Online engagement platform launched
We are using an online engagement platform but will schedule in person and ongoing communications using different media over the course of the consultation to ensure we can reach as many people as possible.
In person community conversations/online sessions
We will schedule five in person community conversations across localities between the 11th of August and 22 August 2025.
We will have an evening online Teams session for those who are unable to travel or attend in person sessions.
