NHS Highland is committed to an Employability and Widening Access Strategy. As an Anchor organisation we need to provide more opportunities, to help people from disadvantaged groups to explore and apply for roles within health and social care, Including positions within NHS Highland.
We want to;
be an exemplar employer that increases community wealth by creating opportunities for all
support and develop a sustainable, skilled and inclusive workforce that represents the communities we serve
meet the current and future healthcare needs within our communities by employing a wide range of people to health and care roles
contribute to the broader economic and social well-being of communities across the Highland and Argyll and Bute area by creating more opportunities to work within health and social care
From 9th of December 2024 - 15th of January 2025 we are asking for your views and suggestions to help influence the development of our strategy. Please have a read through the draft version and share your feedback via the forum tool on this page.
