Equalities data - why it matters and what we do with this information

We are asking for your help in designing the engagement hub, to help us make sure it is a welcoming and easy to use space, that people from all our communities, choose to engage with.  At NHS Highland we know we need the insight and experience of people who use our services in order to learn and improve.  The Engagement Hub offers an online safe space, where people can find out what is happening across the Highland and Argyll and Bute area and take part in topics that are meaningful to them, at any time or day.  The activities below ask some questions, to help us understand how you would like to engage with us, and what the best tools for future engagement may be. By taking part, you are helping us shape this space, to make sure that it works for as many people as possible.  We'll be collecting your ideas and suggestions over the next few weeks. Your feedback will be used to help shape what this platform looks like and how it is used in the future, so make sure your ideas are part of the big picture!  Please note, non-digital methods of engaging with people will continue to be used, where these are better suited. For example, we will continue to meet people face to face and use paper surveys where they have said this is better for them.

Welcome to Engage with NHS Highland, our online engagement platform! We know that we make better decisions when everyone, people who live and work in the Highlands, are involved in the planning and development our local services.&nbsp;Engage with NHS Highland is part of a broader effort to make it easier for people to share their views, experiences and have a say on the things that matter to them, about their local NHS Highland health and care services.This online platform offers a variety of interactive tools, including discussion forums, polls, surveys and crowdsource mapping. We invite you to use this platform to share your ideas, experiences and ask questions about featured projects, at times and in places, that work best for you.We will often use online feedback in conjunction with face-to-face activities &ndash; such as meetings, drop in events or surveys &ndash; to make sure that opportunities for people to get involve, exist for all members of our communities.&nbsp;Please register to get involved and take part the poll below to let us know how you would like to keep informed with projects you choose to take part in.

<h2>About the <a href="https://www.nhshighland.scot.nhs.uk/contact-us/highland-100-panel/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Highland 100 Panel</a></h2>At NHS Highland we know we need the insight and experience of people who use our services in order to learn and improve. We have several ways to gather feedback, from a comments and compliments form to a statutory consultation, as well as Care Opinion, our dedicated Feedback Team, and a complaints process.But sometimes we&#39;d like to hear more generally how we are doing - what people think of NHS Highland as an organisation. To help with this, we are setting up the Highland 100 Panel. We aim to recruit a representative panel of citizens who we will survey once (or perhaps twice) a year, asking questions like:&quot;Over the past year, how was your experience of our service?&quot;Over time, we will be able to build up a picture of how our services are viewed, learn from what we do well, and focus on any areas for improvement.We will also occasionally contact panel members to ask for their input on other things. This could be:<ul><li>advising on the wording of information for patients</li><li>filling in a questionnaire</li><li>joining a focus group, online or in-person, on a specific topic</li></ul>All of these activities are voluntary and you can choose which you might wish to take part in.
